Other Community Initiatives

YES Montreal

Nexia Friedman currently runs an accounting clinic in conjunction with YES (Youth Employment Services) Montreal. YES Montreal is a non-profit community organization that delivers job search and self-employment services to Quebecers.

On a bi-weekly basis, Nexia Friedman employees meet with young entrepreneurs and answer their basic accounting and taxation questions.  The clinic allows Nexia Friedman employees to share their expertise and help to get new businesses started on the right foot.  The program so far has been rewarding for both Nexia Friedman and the young entrepreneurs.

Nexia Friedman is also involved in a wide array of other community and charity initiatives. Some of these initiatives include preparing personal tax returns for the underprivileged, as well as our annual food drive for Sun Youth among others.
